Is a hospital birth certificate valid or does it have to be a state issued one?

i need it to get financial help for my hospital bills. i only have the birth certificate from the hospital i was born at. is this okay or do they need the state one?Is a hospital birth certificate valid or does it have to be a state issued one?
I don't think Hospitals issue Birth Certificates, usually, it's just the information, of your vital statistics. Date of Birth, Weight, length, time of birth etc.

Your Birth Certificate, is the Official one, and your Parents, should have taken care of that.

You can easily check your State Records, for a copy of your Birth Certificate, if you have any doubt about the one you have from the Hospital.

Read in carefully, and see who issued it. It should have been issued by the Country Registrar of Births.

If in doubt, look up the Government Agency and request a copy of your BC. If you are an adult, and it seems you are, you must have been issued one, just to get into school and any other legal Institution. Is a hospital birth certificate valid or does it have to be a state issued one?
The state one is the officially filed copy of the one you have.

No I believe you need the official county birth certificate with the embossed seal.
