Hi. I'm expecting to become a dad by this week. Can anyone let me know how to apply for a Birth Certificate? Will the hospital itself will arrange for it. Is there any documents required for getting the same.How to apply for birth certificate in Chennai?
Nowadays most of the hospital have tie up with Corporation offices.The hospital management will provide you a form just you have to fill it up and submit it to them within 15 days time they(hospital) will provide you birth certificate with name of your child.Be cautious while filling up the form.Your name ,baby's name etc.
