How do I obtain a Spanish Birth Certificate from the Philippines or other country?

My grandfather was a Spaniard born in Spain and my mother would like to obtain a copy of his birth certificate. We are in the Philippines and we are wondering if there is an online site we can order the birth certificate from or maybe an office in Spain we can write to.

best thing you can do is go to the Spanish Embassy in Manila, even then thats only a strech because papers like that are extremely hard to get. but good luck
