You will want to have a professional translation done so that the official will recognize the validity of the birth certificate. I don't think services on a web site will do that.

I don't know who "they" are, but the only way I know of establishing dual citizenship is for the child to be born in one country that is NOT the mother's residence country, then returnig the child to the residence country.

If you go to altavista.com and click on the "translate" link, it will take you to their translation utility...you can do it there; however, as another answerer said, I'm not sure if it will be recognized as far as the accuracy of the translation. It can't hurt to try it though.

Hope this helped.
i can speak, write, and read spanish and can translate it for you its easy.
You can go to http://www.babelfish.altavista.com/

Type in all of the English content and then choose English to Spanish from the drop down menu.

But, if you want to use the birth certificate for official purposes, it has to be notarized. So, you need to find a Spanish translator in a hispanic neighbourhood and take it to a notary.
