Birth certificate?

hi all, my daughter has a spanish birth certificate how can i change it to british? (where do i go) thank you.Birth certificate?
I thought I recognised the trademarks of this question (I answered a previous question of yours and put this idea into your head *sighs* Why did I do that and more importantly what was so complex about what I said that required you to repost this question and not ask me directly?).

---If the child is under a year old I suggest you see about registering the child with the British embassy as this will allow her to obtain a full British birth certificate as well as the one she currently holds (which makes things easier if you want to go back to the UK). --- this is quoted directly from my previous post.

You cannot trade a Spanish birth certificate for a British one (if you register the child with the British embassy she will get two birth certificates one recognised Spain and one in Britian). What happens is that you take your child's Spanish birth certificate (and a translation if necessary) your British passport (and passport or citizenship papers) and go to the British embassy and ask them for the forms to fill out to register a child under the age of 1 (one).

The advantage of having two birth certificates are mainly for people who will go back to their native country.

But hey.. if you're finding all of this too difficult to comprehend might as well give up on the second birth certificate. It's not really a big deal and it seems like it's beyond your understanding.
You can't change it. She was born in Spain.Birth certificate?
To your local registry office?Birth certificate?
You can't. You can change her name but you can't change birth certificate's. Christ think of all the aliens in the world that would want to get british birth certificates!!!!!!
u go back to spain thank you
british embassy. i think you might be able to apply for dual nationality aswell
Hello I may just say that if your daughter was born in Spain whilst you were serving there in our military service you can get information on how register it here but only up to a certain time

Take a look at the GRO site http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/
She was born in Spain so you cannot change it.You can get her a British passport
No need to change and it, and I doubt it is possible. You should easily be able to get her a British passport. A citizen of one EU nation has no trouble getting a passport in another EU nation. And besides, when she gets older she may quite like the thought of being Spanish.
You make no sense
you must apply for british citizenship based on your natinality. contact the british govt.
to answer your question ? any birth certificate of any country cannot be changed to an another citizenship or nationality ;

now ? perhaps you are talking about dual citizenship ? if so do come back .
