The county registrar from the county where you were born will give you a new one, usually for a small fee.

Sorry to hear about the fire, I hope the property damage was the worst of it.
Check the website of the state where you were born. They will have instructions on how to obtain a new certified copy. I had no trouble with getting one within a week from Florida. Getting your SS# takes much longer, check with the federal website for instructions. How do i get a Birth Certificate back that i lost in a fire?
Hospital where it was issued can replace.

So can your state's vital record's department.

Some online; some in person.

Check your state government homepageHow do i get a Birth Certificate back that i lost in a fire?
Contact the office of health and human services in the county that you were born.

They usually request your social security number and a small fee (and you usually have to fill out a form).

They can give you a certified copy that is as good as the original.
