How to get a Date of birth certificate for a person born in 1969 in India?

I'm planning to go to Belgium on work permit and the embassy asked for my date of birth certificate (I'm born in June 1969 in Andhra Pradesh, India). They are not accepting Non-Availability of Birth Certificate from Municipality along with SSC Certificate as proof of date of birth. Any idea on how to get date of birth certificate for me?|||You could try obtaining a letter from the municipality that they are unable to certify your DOB as their records do not extend that far back.


Then you could arrange for an affidavit signed by one of your parents or


a close relative older than you.The affidavit should be stamped with adequate duty as exigible in your state and should also be notarized.


Such an affidavit duly supported by you school leaving certificate


should generally be acceptable.In any case,try to ascertain from the Embassy authorities what alternative document would be acceptable.
