How reliable is VitalChek,how soon and how would I get my birth certificate if I go through them?

I have to get my birth certificate and I need a copy of it before Friday. I found this site VitalChek that allows me to purchase my birth certificate. I want to know if the site is reliable or a scam and how would I be getting my birth certficate if it isn't a scam? By mail or online? Also, would I get the certificate right away?
