How many people really understand Obama's birth certificate issue?

This is not a rant and rave question. Pat answers about the FBI and Supreme Court only show a lack of knowledge about the issue. Obama has not posted or produced his birth certificate. The form he posted in 2007 is not his actual birth certificate and cannot be used as such. Instead, he skirts the issue in true Obama fashion while he goes to great lengths to legally bully and prevent showing an authentic birth certificate. Then there's the case of his passports and alleged travel to countries that at certain times no American citizen could obtain a US passport to travel to. How many people really understand Obama's birth certificate issue?
Very few really understand the issue. All rhetoric aside, Obama has chosen not to share his with the people of the country that he has been elected to lead. That fact is indisputable. Why?
The issue loses all credibility when you notice that the man who has brought this "issue" to attention is the same man who tried taking 9/11 conspiracy theories to the Supreme Court.



I never had very high standards for conservatives, but even i'm surprised to see them become THIS desperate.



This will be taken to the Supreme Court on December 20th...but the nut-job who has never won a case in his entire career. It will be proven as bogus, and that will be the end of it.



By that time, though, conservatives will have already found something new to theorize about. If there's one thing i'm NOT looking forward to over the next four years, it's listening to the BS the right winger's keep spewing out.How many people really understand Obama's birth certificate issue?

It's out there, yes. It's a "certificate of live birth" as well.



Is he not a citizen? He was born in the Panama Canal Zone, after all, and was only retroactively made a citizen of the US. That sounds much more fishy than being born in an actual state. He's legit a citizen, but there's much more to question there.



I mean, if you're going to whine that I "don't understand the issue," let's not hold people to double standards, shall we?

He has skirted the fine lines of American, Malaysian, and Kenyan depending on the situation. But, the bottom line is that it doesn't make any difference. The credentials committee has decided that he's an American and the State of Hawaii has said that they have his original birth certificate. And, no court is going to hear a case about it. Even if he wasn't a citizen, which I highly doubt, the government can't back away from him as the President at this point. Done deal. Sorry about the pat answer.

Completely wrong, A passport is proof of your identity and nationality and is yours as of right. You don't obtain a passport to travel to a specific country and I can not think of any country which excludes US passport holders, Can you name the country?








Again, he is not required to provide his BC to anyone other than his employers....which he has done. He is NOT required to present his BC to each and every person who wants to file a frivilous lawsuit against him. Besides, there is no need to since the state of Hawaii and the FBI have already seen the original and have verified it as valid and authentic.
His Birth Certificate is certified by a department that only deals with US born citizens.



There's nothing to hide. Obama doesn't have even one worry line in his face over this.

I've also heard somewhere that Obama's non-long form, forged birth certificate had a 2008 seal on the outer edge (Hawaii changes it every year)?
According to the State of Hawaii and FBI, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is an American citizen.

No single US citizen owns or has their original long form birth certificate. No me, not you, not Barack Obama. All original long form birth certificates are owned and kept on record by the state the child is born in. What we have are copies of a live birth certificate provided to our parents after our birth. Neither you or me or Barack Obama has our original long form birth certificate.



Every court where a law suit has been filed requesting that Barack Obama produce his long form birth certificate has been tossed out of court because all judges know he doesn't have it himself and no private citizen is required, by law, to produce it for another private citizen.



When a newly elected Senator or Congressman receives their security clearances they are required by law, under section GS-SF-86, commonly called the full disclosure FBI background check, to provide access and permission to the state they were born in for the FBI to see their original long form birth certificate. The FBI, under section GS0SF-86 has already seen and authenticated Obama's birth certificate.



Also, every single presidential and vice presidential nominee, also under GS-SF-86, is investigated by the FBI to ensure that they are qualified to hold office should they win. It is the law and the background check is mandatory by law.



Barack Obama can not produce for court his original long form birth certificate because he doesn't have it. None of us do. It's really that simple. All Barack Obama and his lawyers are doing is trying to uphold the law and the right to privacy. Not you or me or Philip Berg has a right to access to our private records.
Well, if we count just you, the answer would be zero.



The birth certificate that Obama showed is a certification of live birth, stamped by the State of Hawaii, and publicly verified by their Department of Public Health. See link. This is the same type of certification you would get for yourself if you requested your birth certificate, and would be usable to get a passport or any other similar validation.



He has done no skirting. He has done no bullying. He has not "spent millions," as I've heard others claim.

It does say that the President must be "natural born", but there is no definition of what proof of that is required.



Obama *has*, in fact, provided proof that he is natural born. I wonder how many other candidates in the history of the US have done so?



People have filed suit disputing this, and lost. Two of them have asked the Supreme Court to review their cases, and we will find out early next month whether they will agree to this (smart money says "no"). But even so, neither case disputes that he was born in Hawaii; they hinge on other circumstances that they believe split hairs on the term "natural born."

Regarding your question, at this point in time would have to be none. Everyone either claims to be an authority, or accuse the others of being so far to the left or to right that they are going to fall off the edge, or else somebody is a racist, or they are just so naive that they just cannot imagine that it has not been checked, or just a plain smart-alec. Obama said that he will be everyone's President. If there was nothing to hide, then why not be open with the people that voted him into office as well as the ones that did not. Everyone would be behind him 110% and we could be a strong United America again, if he would just voluntarily clear this matter up once and for all. It's too easy to clear this mess up.
I pretty much gave up hope on the American people when I heard someone on Y!A before the election saying Obama shouldn't have to produce a birth certificate and to just give him some privacy.

I find it interesting that so many people don't care if he obides by the law of our land. Has our country gone that far down hill? I think he should provide original proof to his employers (the citizens of the USA). He could have already done this!
